1. David Oyelowo

David Oyelowo is a classically trained stage actor who has quickly become one of Hollywood’s most sought-after talents. He graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), and received the “Scholarship for Excellence” from Nicholas Hytner in 1998. David starred as Martin Luther King Jr. in Paramount’s drama “Selma”. His performance in the title role of the RSC’s production of “Henry VI Parts I, II and III” earned him the Ian Charleson Award in 2001 for outstanding performance by a young actor in a classical theatre role.

2. Morgan Freeman

Morgan Freeman’s authoritative voice and calm demeanor, makes him stand out even more as one of the most respected figures in modern US cinema. Denzel Washington is an American actor and filmmaker. He has received three Golden Globe awards, a Tony Award, and two Academy Awards: Best Supporting Actor for the historical war drama film Glory and Best Actor for his role as a corrupt cop in the crime thriller Training Day.

Oprah Winfrey was born Orpah Gail Winfrey in Kosciusko, Mississippi, to Vernita Lee, a former maid, and Vernon Winfrey, a coal miner, barber, and city councilman. While Winfrey has been cited as the richest African American of the 20th century.

5. Tyler Perry

Perry was born and raised in New Orleans, to Willie Maxine (Campbell) and Emmitt Perry, Sr. He has been writing plays since he was 18. Has a 12-acre estate outside Atlanta. He bought the former Dean Gardens in Johns Creek, GA for $7.6 million (previously listed as high as $40 million). The property has 1200 feet adjoining the Chattahoochee River, a golf course and is 58 acres.

Willard Carroll “Will” Smith, Jr. is a successful actor, comedian, producer, rapper, and songwriter. He has enjoyed success in television, film, and music. Smith has been nominated for five Golden Globe Awards, two Academy Awards, and has won four Grammy Awards. He is often referenced as the most powerful actor in Hollywood.
